Friends of school follows a model for adoption of local schools by businesspeople for the purpose of promoting educational, social, and emotional projects for the students' welfare in partnership with the school management.

 

 School Friends seeks to support and help principals and to create circles of action for them in a range of areas. The program forges partnerships with the municipality, the business community, the third sector, academia, and volunteers. Businesspeople raise the capital, bringing their experience, capabilities, and connections on behalf of the school, its staff, and students. Participating schools benefit from human capital (professional and volunteer) and financial capital, provided on the basis of the needs and work plan defined by the school principals.
